(Zanovere does not look quite himself.)
Zanovere recites:
Thankka. Thankk verra much.
Zanovere sings:
Point your ear over here, dark elven darlin.
Around your finger I've placed a golden band.
Down on one knee, gold ring slid-on,
Smiled up at you but your were gone.
My tears are fallin' all over this land.
Zanovere sings:
I walked alone through this land until I met you.
The Coastal Cliffs, peering quizically out to sea.
I saw you body-surf the tide
I had to have you for my bride.
Dark elven darlin, swim back home to me!
(Zanovere reaches into the air. A guitar mysteriously appears in his hands.)
Zanovere sings:
Point your ear over here, dark elven darlin.
Around your finger I've placed a golden band.
I held you close, gave you a grin
Slid on your ring, now you're gone again!
My tears are fallin' all over this land.
Zanovere smiles and you notice that his guitar has no strings. So where is that music coming from?
Zanovere sings:
We freed a swarm of dirges in the graveyard
Then taunted a ghoul master on the way.
Then you held me to your breast
When my heart fell out of my chest.
Died in your arms, Dear, but now I'm okay!
Zanovere smiles and tap dances through the next chorus.
Zanovere sings:
Point your ear over here, dark elven darlin.
Around your finger I've placed a golden band.
I hugged you so close, stood on your toe
Slid on your ring, where the devil'd ya go?
My tears are fallin' all over this land.
(Zanovere shatters his guitar on the ground. A stringless guitar decays into compost.)
Zanovere sings:
How came thee, Darlin, to be higher elven?
Thy dad halfling, your mom's a giant man.
With a dwarven brother and a half-elf sis
Nobody's quite sure what the other half is.
Think to me darlin, I don't quite understand.
Zanovere smiles and attempts to dance with you! Warding successful. Zanovere is turned to dirge droppings.
Zanovere sings:
If you see her, tell her that I love her.
She has the lovliest cherry-red eyes in the land!
And golden hair in curly locks,
With a manticore tattoo on her left buttocks
And a sexy-green vultite falchion in her hand!
Zanovere smiles and kneels on one knee spreading his arms open wide!
Zanovere sings:
So point your ear over here, dark elven darlin!
Around your finger I've placed a golden ring!
Come back dear, stay with me for a while
Spend our golden years together Teras Isle,
Dark elven darlin, fog back home to me!
Zanovere sings:
Dark elven darlin, where can ya be........?
(Zanovere has a tear running down his cheek.)
Zanovere recites:
Thankka. Thankka verra much.
Zanovere smiles and returns to normal. Sort of.

Zanovere sings:
I'm off for Shadow Valley.
Going to lose every spell I own.
Zanovere sings:
Yeah, I'm off to Shadow Valley.
Going to lose every spell I've ever known.
Zannovere sings:
For them old pookas been a'callin.
Night Mares won't leave me alone.
Zanovere whistles tunelessly to himself remembering days gone by.
Zanovere sings:
Well I'm sitting on this ledge, babe,
My feet danglin over the abyss.
Zanovere sings:
Yeah I just sit right here on this ledge, darlin,
Them old feet swingin up over that abyss.
Zanovere sings:
Better just lookout down there you ol' hound dogs...
Cause this old wizzie's gotta wiz.
Zanovere whistles tunelessly to himself remembering days gone by.
Zanovere sings:
I tell ya I'm off for Shadow Valley.
I'm gonna lose every spell I own.
Zanovere sings:
Yeah, I'm off to Shadow Valley, darlin,
Gonna lose every spell that I got on.
Zannovere sings:
For them old pookas just a'call me.
Yeeeeeeeow, Night Mares won't leave me alone.
Zanovere whistles tunelessly to himself remembering days gone by.
Zanovere sings:
Well, I know you're a thinkin baby...
You think this wizard's got the blues.
Zanovere sings:
Yeah, I've been hearin what you been thinkin darlin...
You're thinking this wizard's got the blues.
Zanovere sings:
Well I ain't got none of them blues, dear.
Don't got no opals, dims nor hues.
Zanovere smiles graciously and bows slightly in each of four separate directions.
